The Chainway SR160 Scanner can be directly connected to a cash register’s computer through Bluetooth or a communications cable. When staff members scan a product’s barcode or RAIN RFID tag with the scanner to retrieve product information, the cash register’s computer can display relevant information such as the product’s price.

The SR160 is a USB human interface device (HID) class module, allowing the use of peripheral computer hardware.
